Meet other people who tweet on Kauai Saturday, February 5th at noon. We are gathering at the 22° North Restaurant located in the Gaylord Wilcox Mansion at Kilohana Plantation in Lihue. We have arranged for separate checks so please feel free to go light or splurge. If you’ve missed the opportunity to enjoy this new restaurant since their opening mid-last year, here is the 22° North farm to table on a farm lunch menu.
Who Should Come:
You are responsible for or represented by a twitter account. It is your own or your company’s.
You are friendly and nice – you don’t throw food.
What To Expect:
A tweetup is an opportunity for people who tweet and may know each from Twitter to meet each other face-to-face.
We will be eating lunch together (separate checks). There will be ample opportunity to get to know each other and exchange information about social media, twitter and marketing our Kauai businesses. Bring some business cards.
The venue is kindly welcoming us each with a @22NorthKauai #KauaiTweetup Farm to Bar Signature Cocktail.
How to RSVP:
Ideally, please leave me a comment on this page. If you are not accustomed to commenting, Here’s how to comment on a website.
Tweet that you are coming. If your Twitter bio doesn’t include your name (tsk tsk) please let us know who you are.
Following:
You should notice new followers during the week running up to the #KauaiTweetUp and following it. Be nice and follow back – unless you don’t want to – but at least consider it. I’ve noticed a lot of Twitter accounts on Kauai where the owner follows only a few people. Are you being selective or just not looking? Following back prospective or current clients just makes sense.
Toys:
I have a couple of social media toys I will be bringing including Kodak pocket video cameras – the Xi8 and the Sport. You are welcome to try them out. You are invited to bring social media toys of your own to show if you like.
Tweet About the TweetUp:
Let’s create a little noise. Please use:
