Paddle Fest Kauai is an annual summer event bringing together paddlers on 6 man outrigger canoes (OC-6), 1 man outrigger canoes (OC-1) Stand Up Paddlers (SUP) and even a 4-man outrigger canoe. Outrigger canoe clubs and individual paddlers come from all over Kauai to compete. The host of this event is the Kukui’ula Outrigger Canoe Club providing food, music and prizes. Find following photos by Ray Gordon of the paddlers arriving at Kukui’ula Boat harbor, the race results, the much appreciated sponsors, and upcoming events that support the important Hawaiian tradition of paddling and Kauai paddling community.

Kukui’ula Outrigger Canoe Club Fund-Raising
The Kukui’ula Outrigger Canoe Club hosted Paddle Fest and has several fund-raisers during the year. The club uses these funds to support their keiki (children) paddling program as well as their ability to continue to train new members and maintain paddling supplies. Participating in and sponsoring these events supports the very important traditions of paddling in Hawaii.
